Definitions
Accuro Logistics Ltd (referred
to as the Company) undertakes to hire vehicle(s) to
the client (the person booking and paying for the
service) for the period of hire, under the following
terms and conditions: Prospective clients may use
this website to complete an online quotation request
form or make contact by telephone for a quick quote.
We will respond to either request by email or telephone
as appropriate, giving a quote based on the information
provided. As required we will negotiate and agree
a price for the work that the prospective client wants
us to do for them. We will then agree payment (sending
an email confirmation if requested).
The following terms also apply
a).
The charge on your credit card statement will be listed
as Accuro Logistics Ltd.
b).
Any variations to the journey(s) originally discussed,
booked and agreed to between the Company and the Client
may be subject to additional charges, if these changes
involve extra time and/or distance being covered.
c).
No hidden taxes, fees or charges will be payable upon
completion of the job, except where additional waiting
time and/or parking charges have been incurred and
these were defined and agreed to in our quotation
discussions or as defined under paragraph (b) above.
d).
When a prospective client wishes to proceed on the
basis of the quotation given, they will make their
reservation using our online booking form (“WorldPay”
secure payment system). This secure payment system
means we never get credit card details belonging to
any of our clients.
e).
We reserve the right to alter our charges.
f).
We reserve the right to substitute any vehicle or
chauffeur/driver.
g).
When a vehicle is hired for two days or a longer period,
whilst every endeavour will be made for the hirer
to retain the same vehicle and chauffeur/driver during
such a period, the Company reserve the right to substitute
any other vehicle or chauffeur/driver according to
the exigencies of the service.
h).
For health and safety reasons, Accuro Logistics is
unable to supply or fit baby or infant/booster seats.
Customers may choose to supply their own seats, but
the chauffeur/driver is not permitted to fit any seat.
Customers must ensure the seat is correctly fitted
to the vehicle. Before moving off, the chauffeur/driver
will ask the customer to confirm the seat is fitted
in accordance with the manufacturer’s fitting
instructions.
At the end of the journey, the customer must remove
the child/booster seat from the vehicle.
Chauffeur/drivers cannot offer advice as to how to
fit the seats as they are not trained in the installation
and use of individual seats. Under the terms of the
Motor Vehicles (wearing of seat belts) regulations
1993, private hire vehicles are not required to provide
child restraints and there are qualified exemptions
allowing children to travel unrestrained in those
vehicles. Children may travel unrestrained if no appropriate
restraint is provided. Where an appropriate restraint
is available, this should be used.
i).
When making a booking involving children under the
age of thirteen the customer must provide the age
of any children travelling with the Company.
j).
Without prior notice: The Company reserves the right
to amend, change, delete or add to these terms and
conditions whenever necessary.
Payment by credit card in either of the following
ways:
k).
A Deposit to be paid at least 3 days prior to the
booking date, using “WorldPay” secure
payment system, to confirm the booking, with the balance
being paid on completion of the job.
l).
Pre-payment in full no less than 48 hours prior to
the booking date, using our secure payment system.
m).
There is a booking fee for all card payments. These
are included in the quoted price at the following
rates. Up to £50 = £2, over £50
= £4, over £100 = £6.
Payment by Cash:
n). If you wish to pay
by cash, please call our office to make your booking.
Cancellation and Refund Policy:
o).In
the event of a “No-show” by the client,
or if a booking is cancelled by the Customer within
24 hours of the start of the period of hire, any and
all monies paid will be totally non-refundable.
Every effort will be made by the Company to ensure
that vehicle(s) arrive on time and reach destinations
on time too. The Company shall not be held responsible
or liable for any delays (and/or arising consequential
losses) that occur beyond its control.
Customers are not entitled to a refund once they are
using the service, but there may be circumstances
where a refund is deemed necessary – e.g. technical
problems where the Customer is not getting the service
they believed they signed up for, this may occasionally
be offered at the discretion of the Company.
A full refund will be made, on your credit card, for
jobs cancelled more than 24 hours before the due time.
p).
The chauffeur/driver will travel by the most appropriate
route on the day, unless instructed otherwise by the
Customer when term (c) may apply.
q).
Although vehicles are fully insured for passenger
and third party claims under British law, Customer’s
belongings are carried at their own risk and the Company
shall not be held responsible/liable for any loss/damage
to such belongings.
r).
The Company and its chauffeur/drivers have the right
to refuse to carry any passenger who is thought to
be under the influence of alcohol or drugs and whose
behaviour poses a threat either to the chauffeur/driver
the vehicle or any other passenger.
s).
The Company maintains a strict non-smoking policy
in all its vehicles as the law dictates.
t).
Nothing contained in these terms and conditions can
affect the Customer’s statutory rights.
